Pakistan Cricket Board, the world’s top-ranked Twenty20 side, declared the 15-member T20I squad for the upcoming two-match series against Scotland on Monday.
Pakistan’s left-hand batsman Haris Sohail secured his place in the squad as a replacement for injured Babar Azam, who fractured his wrist during the first Test against England last week.
Haris Sohail has appeared in a total of seven T20Is for the country, scored 74 runs at an average of 18.50. He has been roped in on the reference of head coach Mickey Arthur and skipper Sarfraz Ahmed.
Pakistan cricket team drew the Two-Test series 1-1 after winning the first match at Lord’s. The T20s match will be played on June 12 and 13. The Pakistan T20 squad includes Haris Sohail, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Hussain Tallat, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Amir, Hassan Ali, Rahat Ali, Usman Shinwari, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sarfraz Ahmed (captain), Fakhar Zaman, Ahmed Shehzad.
