Audi is in news for taking a significant step forward in its long-pursued plan to set up a second venture in China. German Automaker again highlighted for its Cognata partnership, Israel based autonomous startup. The partnership will speed up the development of autonomous vehicles.

The German automaker will use Cognata’s autonomous vehicle simulation platform to test as well as develop its technology, said by Audi’s self-driving unit. Sources stated that Cognata offers a range of testing scenarios including traffic models that simulate realistic conditions.

Audi’s self-driving unit, AID says that the multi-year partnership will help it bring its self-driving vehicles to market faster. Audi is the first automaker to sign partnership on Cognata’s platform. This partnership will also reduce the demand for advanced simulation technology as automakers want to develop and deploy autonomous vehicles.
