American Airlines Arena, Miami, 20 November – Brooklyn Nets are finally finding their identity as a squad as they improve every day. By winning a game away against the Miami heat now they have a record of 8-10 only 2 games away from having a .500 record.
The first quarter of the game was an offensive disaster as the Nets scored 20 points while the Heat scored only 13 points. On the 2nd quarter the Heat managed to find their offensive rhythm and outscored the visitors 29 to 19 to go to the halftime break with a 3-point lead.
On the 3rd quarter things seemed to be going well offensively for both sides as they managed to score 35 points each. The 4th quarter was awful for the home team as they got annihilated and only managed to score 15 points while conceding 30 of them. It seemed that they were unable to continue the offensive display that they showed the previous 2 quarters.
D’Angelo Russell had 20 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals while he was also helped by Spencer Dinwiddie who had 16 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. For the home team, Hassan Whiteside had a 20-20 game with 21 points and 23 rebounds and he also got some valuable help from Josh Richardson that managed to score 16 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
Both teams will be playing on Friday, Nets will host the Timberwolves while the Heat will visit Bulls.
